What Municipal Leadership Should Know to Build a Cyber Secure and Resilient Commonwealth

This event is designed to provide municipal leaders with a comprehensive discussion on cyber threat actors, including nation states, terrorist groups and criminal gangs.  Beyond the headlines, this presentation will provide leaders with a deeper understanding of motivations and techniques of threat operators with a goal of better understanding the risks facing municipalities. The session will end with a discussion on concrete steps for leaders to take to improve cyber resiliency for their community.

Presented by Nichols College in collaboration with MassCyberCenter, Cyber Adversaries is open to all municipal leaders and industry experts interested in exploring today’s most pressing cyber security topics and their implications at the community level. 

The engaging agenda includes speakers from Cybereason, EOTSS, Department of Defense, Nichols College Master of Science in Counterterrorism Program, and MassCyberCenter. We’ll cover domestic and international terrorist cyber threats, as well as the divergent goals of private and nation state threats.

Cyber Adversaries will be held on October 16th from 10am to 3pm at Daniels Auditorium on the Nichols College campus in Dudley, MA, just 15 minutes off Rt 395.
